GUANGZHOU, March 20. /Dunyo IA/. A forum dedicated to promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan was held in Guangzhou, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the presentations, participants were informed about Uzbekistan’s tourism destinations, including the historical centers of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, ancient monuments and cultural heritage sites. They also learned about modern infrastructure development projects, new routes and promising tourism initiatives.
Special attention was paid to the direct flights between Tashkent and Guangzhou - ten flights per week. According to the participants, these flights, along with the 30-day visa-free entry, contribute to the growth of tourist flow between the two countries.
“Uzbekistan is undoubtedly becoming an attractive global tourist destination. The unique monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage List draw tourists from all over the world. Today's forum is aimed at establishing new partnerships and intensifying marketing campaigns to increase the flow of tourists”, - noted General Director of “SilkLink”.
