BRUSSELS, November 28. /IA "Doone"/. An article dedicated to the results of the UNESCO World Congress on the Upbringing and Education of Young Children held in Tashkent has been published on the Emerging Europe information portal, the correspondent of the Dune news Agency reports.

Uzbekistan's success in modernizing the preschool education system has made the country an ideal venue for the UNESCO conference on the upbringing and education of young children, which brought 1,500 people from more than 150 UN member states to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, the publication says.
It is reported that for several days ministers, politicians, teachers, education experts and child psychologists discussed further actions, listening to various examples of best practices in the field of preschool education, many of which were dedicated to providing preschool education and education during the crisis.
The article notes that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, welcoming the forum participants, proposed that Tashkent become a UNESCO regional center coordinating the agency's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Central Asia.
It is reported that following the results of the UNESCO Conference on the upbringing and education of young children, more than 150 UN member states adopted the Tashkent Declaration, designed to define the international agenda in the field of early childhood education until 2030. It confirms the importance of providing at least one year of free and compulsory quality preschool education for all children, increasing funding for the upbringing and education of young children and providing early childhood care staff with the same status - including remuneration - as primary school teachers.
