BAKU, December 12. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan, in coordination with the regional office of the Agency for External Labor Migration, provided practical assistance to an Uzbek citizen who found themselves in a difficult situation in Baku, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Uzbek citizen, identified as F.G., approached the Embassy of Uzbekistan seeking assistance for their return to the country. In response, the Embassy coordinated with partner organizations and took the necessary measures to ensure the citizen’s safe repatriation.
According to F.G., they had traveled to Azerbaijan in September of this year with the intention of working in Turkey. However, Turkish border authorities denied them entry into the country, forcing them to return.
To facilitate the return, the Embassy issued the required certificates, and the regional office of the Agency for External Labor Migration assisted in purchasing airline tickets for the Baku–Samarkand route. The coordinated diplomatic and consular efforts ensured that the citizen could safely return to Uzbekistan without further complications.
Officials emphasized that this operation reflects Uzbekistan’s ongoing commitment to protecting its nationals abroad and highlights the effectiveness of the country’s consular support and international cooperation in emergency situations.
