“Ammon News” newspaper: Uzbekistan’s participation in the “Council of Peace” highlights expansion of its foreign policy and economic agenda globally

AMMAN, January 26. /Dunyo IA/. President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos has highlighted the country’s expanded foreign policy and economic agenda on the global stage, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing a publication in the Jordanian newspaper “Ammon News”.

According to the report, during the forum, the Uzbek President took part in the signing ceremony of the Statute of the “Council of Peace” and held a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings with foreign leaders and representatives of international financial institutions.

The discussions covered regional security, multilateral cooperation, investment and sustainable development. Particular attention was given to expanding economic partnerships, attracting international investment, developing green energy, infrastructure and financial mechanisms. Several meetings confirmed the interest of leading global companies and institutions in deepening cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Experts note that Uzbekistan’s active engagement in international initiatives and dialogues reflects the evolution of the country’s foreign policy - shifting from a primarily regional focus to a more prominent presence in global processes related to security, sustainable development and international economic collaboration.
