Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Receives Credentials from Saudi Arabia’s New Ambassador

TASHKENT, January 24. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, today received the new Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimed, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Today, we received the copies of credentials from H.E. Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimed, newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - The relations between our two countries are witnessing very dynamic positive trends in many areas. We discussed current priorities and prospects for further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, including in trade, investment, energy, and cultural exchanges.
Wish Mr. Ambassador successful tenure in Uzbekistan”.
It is worth to note that diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia were established on February 20, 1992.
Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimed succeeded Yousef Al Otaiba, who headed the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Tashkent from 2021 to 2025.
