First Ambassador of Burundi accredited in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, November 27. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov today received Joseph Nkurunziza, the first Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to our country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Welcomed the first Ambassador of Burundi to Uzbekistan H.E. Joseph Nkurunziza and received his credentials, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – Our discussions were productive and forward-looking, focusing on the growing potential for cooperation between our two nations. We also exchanged views on enhancing collaboration within international and regional organizations.
Wish Mr. Ambassador all the success during his tenure in our country”.
It is worth recalling that diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the East African state of Burundi were established on 24 September 2024.
Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan received the letters of credence from Fathudin Ali Mohamed, the first Ambassador of Somalia to our country.
