KABUL, March 30. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from the Namangan region, led by Khokim Shavkat Abdurazakov, has paid a visit to Afghanistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with reference to the Afghan television channel “Ariana News”.

The delegation included deputy khokims, as well as more than 30 Uzbek entrepreneurs and investors. During the visit, meetings with Afghan representatives, conferences and trade negotiations were held.

The delegation is also expected to visit the Balkh province to hold business meetings with local authorities and the private sector. An exhibition of Uzbek products is planned to open in Mazar-i-Sharif, showcasing their quality and diversity.

Earlier, in February of this year, a delegation from the Syrdarya region, led by Khokim Erkinjon Turdimov, also visited Afghanistan and held a series of important meetings.

In the coming days, visits from other khokims of Uzbekistan are expected with the goal of expanding bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sphere. Negotiations between representatives of the two countries are aimed at implementing mutually beneficial projects.
