TASHKENT, January 14. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of Palestine, Waill Ahmed Batrekhi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Palestine to Uzbekistan H.E. Waill Ahmed Batrekhi. - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. Discussed about boosting Uzbekistan and Palestine relations both in bilateral and multilateral formats. Agreed to further strengthen friendly ties and constructive dialogue between our two nations.

The Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan stands ready to support Mr. Ambassador during his tenure in our country”.

Diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Palestine were established on 25 September 1994.

Waill Ahmed Batrekhi has succeeded Javed Mohammed Awad, who served as Ambassador of Palestine to Uzbekistan from 2023 to 2025.
