VITEBSK, May 16. /Dunyo IA/. A new Victory Alley dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II has been established in the Botanical Garden of P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Twelve saplings, adapted to the climate of the Vitebsk region, were provided by the embassies of Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, China, India, and other countries. These saplings were planted by students currently studying at Vitebsk State University.

As part of the event, an exhibition was organized in the Botanical Garden honoring the bravery of soldiers who fought heroically during the Second World War.

The university administration emphasized their commitment to expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan.
