An article devoted to a linguistic analysis of the Address of the President of Uzbekistan, covering the period up to 2026, has been published in a number of popular Pakistani media outlets, including “Islamabad Post”, “Centre Line”, and “Times of Central Asia”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the publications, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, delivered an Address to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan. Experts from the Center for Economic Research and Reforms of Uzbekistan conducted a linguistic content analysis of the head of state’s address. The analysis was carried out using modern linguistic methods and aimed at identifying semantic emphases, key concepts, and their interrelationships. A word cloud and diagrams were also prepared, clearly illustrating the priority areas of state policy.
It is noted that the Address of the President of Uzbekistan contains a total of 9,135 words. According to the results of the linguistic analysis, the most frequently used words in the text were “mahalla” (49 times), “population” (35), “economy” (28), “market” (26), “project” (25), and “technology” (22), as well as “education,” “results,” and “income,” each used 20 times. The words “entrepreneur” and “industry” appeared 19 times each, “water” 18 times, “electricity” and “territory” 17 times each, and “youth,” “infrastructure,” and “construction” 16 times each.
It is emphasized that the analysis shows that clearly defined strategic objectives for the next five years are at the core of state policy, along with a transition to a new stage of development based on the mahalla system, public well-being, and economic and technological transformations. In addition, the analysis highlights key words that reflect the interconnection of various areas of Uzbekistan’s state policy in the coming years.
“The linguistic analysis confirms that the address of the head of state is based on the linkage ‘human dignity - mahalla - growth of well-being,’ around which the goals of reforms aimed at sustainable growth, improving the quality of life of the population, and further strengthening Uzbekistan’s position have been formed,” the publications say.
