Uzbek nationals in difficult situation in Poland to celebrate New Year with family

WARSAW, December 31. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland has successfully facilitated the return of Uzbek citizens who found themselves in difficult circumstances, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Two nationals - one from Namangan, facing serious health issues, and another from Kashkadarya, experiencing financial difficulties and having lost personal documents - sought assistance from the Embassy.

Embassy officials took all necessary measures to ensure their safe return to Uzbekistan.

The ill citizen was hospitalized with a diagnosis of stroke and received medical care in accordance with the recommendations of a Polish medical institution until clearance for travel was granted. For the other individual, all documentation required for repatriation was arranged.

The repatriation was carried out via special transport along the “Warsaw – Riga” route, followed by a “Riga – Tashkent” flight. Both citizens received entry permits for Latvia and were provided with facilitated transit. Transportation to Riga and airline tickets were arranged by the Embassy.

The costs of the airline tickets were covered by the Uzbekistan Agency for Migration.
