YEKATERINB, December 24. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg met with Uzbek students studying at higher education institutions in the Ural region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The consulate regularly engages with young Uzbeks residing in its jurisdiction who are pursuing studies while working temporarily, providing material and humanitarian support to those facing difficulties.

During the recent meeting at one of the Ural universities, it was noted that many students had missed classes due to financial difficulties, which in some cases led to suspension from their educational programs. The consulate issued relevant instructions to prevent and address such problems promptly. Humanitarian assistance measures were also arranged for students residing in dormitories.

To further support the diaspora youth, the consulate has established broad cooperation with Uzbek entrepreneurs operating in the Ural region. With their assistance, more than 30 students at the Ural State Medical University dormitories received essential food supplies.
