Inter-parliamentary dialogue between Uzbekistan and Serbia expands

BUDAPEST, April 28. /Dunyo IA/. Online consultations have been held between representatives of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the National Assembly of Serbia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Budapest, during the exchange of views, the parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation as a key tool for developing political dialogue between the two states. Particular attention was paid to the need for intensifying contacts between parliaments, expanding the practice of mutual visits and deepening cooperation within parliamentary friendship groups.
It was noted that inter-parliamentary ties today serve not only as a form of political interaction but also as an important channel for building trust, exchanging experience, and promoting joint initiatives on the international stage.
The parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing the partnership and expressed readiness to continue a regular and systematic dialogue at various levels.
Following the consultations, a shared commitment was reaffirmed to expanding practical cooperation and further strengthening friendly relations between the parliaments of the two countries.
Inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia maintains a steady positive momentum and possesses significant potential for further development in the interests of the people of both nations.
