SAINT PETERSBURG, April 30. /Dunyo IA/. The 22nd International Festival of National Cultures took place at the Bonch-Bruevich Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was organized by the Department of International Cooperation of SPbSUT. The festival brought together representatives of consular offices, national-cultural associations, the academic community and students from various higher education institutions in Saint Petersburg.

The program included a festive concert, a national exhibition, a traditional costume show, and a food tasting. The festival was opened by First Vice-Rector Albert Abilov. He emphasized that this event is an opportunity to get to know each other, build friendships, and experience the cultures of different peoples.

Uzbek youth were among the festival’s most active participants. Our students showcased national attire in a fashion show, performed musical numbers, and arranged a national stand featuring traditional souvenirs and household items.

The festival concluded on a high note, leaving a sense of a true celebration and strengthening the existing ties between different countries.
