Uzbekistan explores adoption of advanced British pollination technologies

LONDON, April 25. /Dunyo IA/. At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London, online negotiations were held between the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and representatives of the British company “PBS International”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Hannah Senior, highly praised the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector. In particular, she noted the consistent measures aimed at developing horticulture, diversifying agricultural crops, and introducing modern agricultural technologies.
The British side expressed its readiness to contribute practically to these areas. The company showed interest in cooperation in developing high-quality and competitive plant varieties through innovative solutions in the effective management of pollination processes.
In addition, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of plant breeding and seed production, exchange of experience with Uzbek specialists, and capacity building.
Following the negotiations, the sides reached an agreement on the further development of cooperation and the implementation of concrete joint projects.
