ALMATY, November 26. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty took part in the international exhibition "The Great Silk Road Reborn", held at the Atakent Expo Center, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event brought together more than 300 participants, including officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in Almaty, representatives of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan (NCE) "Atameken", financial institutions, the business community, trade and logistics experts, as well as Kazakh and Uzbek producers and journalists.

The exhibition featured plenary sessions on certification and standardization, tourism, consulting, as well as legal and accounting services. It also provided a platform for the exchange of experience and information, alongside business-to-business (B2B) meetings between Uzbek and Kazakh entrepreneurs.

Uzbek diplomats provided detailed briefings on Kazakhstan’s legislation and requirements for importing goods, establishing production, and cooperating with state and private enterprises. Participants were informed about opportunities to expand joint manufacturing, develop "co-branded" products, and enlarge special economic zones, industrial parks, and free trade areas along the border.

The exhibition concluded with participant presentations and a summary of outcomes, highlighting the significant potential for further cooperation between entrepreneurs from the two countries.
