ISTAMBUL, January 19. /Dunyo IA/.  As part of the spiritual and educational project “From the Past to the Future of the Turkic World”, implemented by the Şişli District Directorate of National Education in Istanbul, a presentation titled “Cultural Values of Uzbekistan” was held, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul in cooperation with Gülsen Mustafa Müzuri Primary School.

As part of the program, guests were presented with a range of materials showcasing Uzbekistan. Schoolchildren took an active part in the event, vividly presenting the national and cultural heritage of the country. Attendees were introduced to the history and culture of Uzbekistan, its great historical figures, customs and traditions as well as the country’s traditional cuisine.

The students also performed Uzbek national dances, adding a lively cultural dimension to the presentation.

At the conclusion of the event, guests were invited to enjoy dishes of Uzbek national cuisine served at a generously laid dastarkhan, offering an authentic taste of Uzbekistan’s hospitality.
