TASHKENT, January 14. /Dunyo IA/.  Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan continue to closely monitor developments in Iran and maintain regular contact with the relevant authorities, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the telegram channel of the Press Secretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Ahror Burhanov, Embassy of Uzbekistan in Iran reports that, at present, no Uzbek citizens have been reported among those affected by the ongoing demonstrations in the country.

In this context, the Embassy of Uzbekistan urges Uzbek citizens currently in Iran to refrain from participating in protests and mass gatherings, to avoid areas with large crowds and to strictly observe personal safety measures.
