Japan hosts cultural and educational event highlighting the foundations of the New Uzbekistan

TOKYO, November 25. /Dunyo IA/. A seminar highlighting Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, alongside the ambitious reforms shaping the "New Uzbekistan" was held in Tokyo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Japanese Parliament and government, as well as academics, civil society organizations, and subject-matter experts.
Participants exchanged views on Uzbekistan’s regional role, the outcomes of its openness policy and ongoing reforms, as well as the country’s extensive efforts in preserving cultural heritage and promoting tourism development.
The Japanese side noted a significant increase in interest toward Uzbekistan, emphasizing that the country’s stable and peaceful development provides a favorable environment for foreign investment.
The event placed particular emphasis on fostering friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Japan, expanding cultural ties, and strengthening "people-to-people diplomacy". Discussions were conducted in an open and productive atmosphere, with proposals and initiatives put forward to further advance bilateral cooperation in the future.
