Medical tourism on the rise: Over 75,000 foreigners seek treatment in Uzbekistan in ten months

ТASHKENT, December 12. /Dunyo IA/. In January-October 2025, a total of 75,666 foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for treatment, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the National Statistics Committee, foreign citizens visiting Uzbekistan for medical treatment during this period.
They were divided into by country:
Tajikistan - 53,045 people;
Kyrgyz Republic - 13,038 people;
Kazakhstan - 6,979 people;
Russia - 1,709 people;
Afghanistan - 533 people;
Turkmenistan - 215 people;
Turkey - 43 people;
USA - 15 people;
China - 14 people;
Azerbaijan - 10 people;
Other countries - 65 people.
The rising number of foreign nationals seeking medical treatment in Uzbekistan underscores the success of the government’s ongoing initiatives to modernize the national healthcare system.
