BANGKOK, December 14. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Thailand hosted a cultural and educational event dedicated to Constitution Day and the Day of Adoption of the National Anthem of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The National Anthem of Uzbekistan was highlighted as a symbol of national traditions, interethnic harmony, fraternity, and the pride of the Uzbek people in their history and contemporary achievements.

Participants were briefed on the Constitution of Uzbekistan, its history, and its role in safeguarding the rights and freedoms of citizens. Special emphasis was placed on the 2023 amendments, which strengthen judicial activity, uphold citizens’ rights and freedoms, promote friendship and solidarity in the region, foster an inclusive society, protect the interests of the underprivileged, reduce poverty and preserve national values.

The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organizations accredited in Bangkok, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Immigration Service, the Tourism Committee as well as leaders of local cultural, scientific, and religious institutions, youth organizations and members of the Uzbek diaspora.

Guests were also introduced to Uzbekistan’s current development and its economic, cultural, and social potential.

The celebration concluded with a traditional Uzbek feast, showcasing the nation’s rich culinary heritage.
