Uzbek diplomat’s textbook for teaching Uzbek language to foreigners awarded top prize at national contest

CAIRO, October 18. /Dunyo IA/. A textbook authored by Otabek Alimov, a diplomat at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt, has been declared the winner of the national competition "My Beloved Uzbek Language." The contest is organized by the Department for the Development of the State Language under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek Language Development Foundation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

This publication has been recognized as the most advanced project in the category of "Best Practical Work Contributing to the International Promotion of the Uzbek Language".
It is worth noting that, at the request of students studying the Uzbek language at Cairo University, a diplomat, Otabek Alimov, took the initiative to prepare and publish in 2025 a scientific and practical manual titled "Uzbek Language: A Complete Self-Study Guide in 22 Lessons" through the Embassy of Uzbekistan. The textbook is available in both electronic and full-color print formats on the Amazon platform, as well as in app form via Google Books and Google Play.
The Russian translation of the manual, titled "Uzbek Language: A Complete Course in 22 Lessons" is available through major online retailers such as LITRES and OZON. Plans are underway to translate the book into Arabic and other languages, which will further enhance the international prestige of the Uzbek language and broaden the geographical scope of its instruction worldwide.
