VLADIVOSTOK, January 7. /Dunyo IA/. In Primorsky Krai, a cultural and educational event dedicated to the New Year was held with the support of Uzbekistan’s consular service and in cooperation with active compatriots, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

More than 160 people participated in the event, including members of the Uzbek diaspora, Uzbek citizens working in the region and their children, as well as students from our country.

The celebration featured displays of traditional costumes, young guests reciting New Year-themed poems, and Uzbek musicians performing concert pieces in Vladivostok.

During the event, New Year gifts were distributed to the children: 80 young participants received presents from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok and sponsors.

The event became an important part of the consular service’s efforts to support Uzbek citizens living in the Far Eastern Federal District and to strengthen cultural ties within the diaspora.
