ISLAMABAD, March 24. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan have sent books and magazines in English and Urdu to 33 professional technical schools in our country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The initiative was implemented to promote the development of youth knowledge and practical skills in line with modern requirements, as well as to improve the quality of education within the vocational training system.
As part of this effort, cooperation has been established with technical schools located in the cities of Nukus, Jizzakh and Khattakurgan, as well as in the Yakkasaray, Mirishkor, Alat, Izboskan, Khanabad and Dangara districts.
During the meetings with the leadership of the educational institutions, key areas of interaction were identified. In particular, the issues of organizing online classes, equipping specialized foreign language classrooms with modern equipment and providing students with the necessary textbooks and literature were discussed. Furthermore, practical measures aimed at increasing interest in studying foreign languages, especially English, were developed.
Agreements were also reached on professional development for teachers, the regular conduct of online classes featuring foreign specialists and the exchange of best practices. These measures are expected to further enhance the quality of education and strengthen the professional potential of educators.
Additionally, there are plans to familiarize Uzbek specialists with Pakistan's vocational education system, introduce modern methodological approaches to classroom organization, develop academic exchange programs and attract international grants.
To implement the outlined tasks, approximately 2,500 copies of books and magazines in English and Urdu, published by leading Pakistani publishing houses, have been sent to Uzbekistan.
This literature will enrich the educational process, increase students' interest in foreign languages, develop self-study skills and strengthen their ability to communicate fluently in foreign languages.
Currently, the diplomatic mission continues its work to expand cooperation with technical schools, implement new educational initiatives and develop and support innovative projects in the field of education.
It is expected that these efforts will bring educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan to a new level and open up additional opportunities for the youth.
