Uzbek Students Take Part in an International Conference in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, January 11. /"Dunyo" IA/. A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with a group of Uzbek students who arrived in Islamabad to participate in an international scientific and practical conference organized at the National University of Sciences and Technology of Pakistan (NUST), "Dunyo" IA's correspondent reports.

During the meeting, the participants were provided with detailed information on the key priorities of Uzbekistan’s state youth policy. Particular attention was paid to the initiatives and large-scale reforms being implemented at the initiative of the President of the country.

It was emphasized that ensuring the legal rights and interests of compatriots studying and working abroad is one of the priority areas of state policy. It was noted that today youth act as a key driving force in promoting innovative and social ideas, as well as in leading the country to a new stage of socio-economic development.

In addition, the participants were briefed on the current state and prospects of Uzbek–Pakistani relations and on the activities of the Embassy, including the agreements reached with Pakistani universities in the field of higher education, joint educational programs and projects, as well as grants allocated for Uzbek youth.

In turn, the students noted that their visit to Pakistan and participation in the international conference became an important platform for exchanging experience and communicating with young people from Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other countries.

Following the meeting, the compatriots received detailed answers to all their questions.
