NEW DELHI, September 8. /Dunyo IA/. A “roundtable” discussion dedicated to the outcomes of the state visit of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, to Uzbekistan on August 29–30^th was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in New Delhi in cooperation with the India-Central Asia Foundation (ICAF), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by Indian experts, representatives of academic and analytical circles, journalists, Uzbek students, and diplomats of Uzbekistan. The Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), Abdusamat Khaydarov, alongside representatives of the Indian expert community, also joined the discussion via videoconference.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustambaev, presented information on the key events and agreements reached during the visit, emphasizing its significance for strengthening political dialogue and expanding practical cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to the agreement on elevating relations between Uzbekistan and India to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership. According to the participants, the consistent implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level will lay the foundation for the further development of bilateral ties.

Indian experts noted the symbolic significance of the visit, which took place on the eve of the 35^th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan. Vice President of ICAF Gitesh Sarma, emphasized the high level of mutual trust between the two countries and highlighted the positive transformations that have taken place in Uzbekistan in recent years.

Participants of the “roundtable” highly appreciated the outcomes of the visit and expressed interest in continuing the expert-analytical dialogue. Indian experts also declared their readiness to facilitate the promotion of the agreements reached and the development of practical cooperation between the two nations.
