Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan provided laptops and tablets to vocational college in Kashkadarya

ISLAMABAD, September 3. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan has provided grant assistance free of charge to Vocational College No. 1 in Mirishkor district, Kashkadarya region, donating seven tablets and three laptops to the educational institution, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The equipment is intended to strengthen the college’s material and technical capacity and expand opportunities for practical training in computer graphics, information technology and design, as well as electrical installation.

The handover of the equipment was part of efforts to implement the tasks outlined at a meeting chaired by the President of Uzbekistan on the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country’s diplomatic missions abroad.

During a meeting with the college’s Director Vohidjon Nurberdiyev, the sides also agreed to make effective use of the donated equipment and explore the possibility of establishing an innovative IT-focused training center at the institution.

“This initiative will contribute to strengthening students’ practical skills, improving the efficiency of the educational process and training specialists equipped with modern knowledge and competencies”, the college director said.
