Shanghai discusses Investment Opportunities for Chinese Companies in Uzbekistan

SHANGHAI, September 8. /Dunyo IA/. A seminar dedicated to investment issues in Uzbekistan was held in Shanghai, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Event was organized by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization in cooperation with the General Consulate of our country. It was attended by He Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China, representatives of relevant government agencies of China and over 50 leading companies.
As He Yong noted, Central Asia is a strategic hub of the “Belt and Road” initiative, as well as a safe and promising market for Shanghai manufacturing enterprises.
During the seminar, legal and cultural matters, as well as aspects of resource allocation faced by enterprises in the process of globalization, were discussed. Participants specifically emphasized that this seminar would serve to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between China and Uzbekistan.
At the event, representatives of companies successfully operating in our country, including “INDRA E-Commerce Service Co., Ltd.”, “SUS Environment”, NIO and others, shared their experiences, outlining the incentives, investment climate and legal frameworks established for investors in Uzbekistan.
Meeting participants were briefed on the opportunities for entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan, the favorable business environment, as well as the logistical and infrastructural advantages of our country for accessing European and regional markets.
Following the seminar, an agreement was reached to organize business missions of Chinese entrepreneurs to Uzbekistan.
