Kuwait appoints new Ambassador to Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, May 11. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kuwait Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Uzbekistan, H.E. Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - The prospects for further expanding the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait were at the center of our agenda.

Noted that the state visit of H.E. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kuwait in February 2025 elevated bilateral relations to a new level.

Also discussed strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as other international and regional organizations.

Wished the Ambassador great success in his responsible and honorable mission in Uzbekistan”.
