TASHKENT, July 27. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Finland Johanna Maria Ögren, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Received the credentials of H.E. Johanna Maria Ögren, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to our country, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - In recent years, Uzbekistan–Finland relations have gained significant momentum.

Noted the importance of expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as encouraging direct contacts between the business communities of our two countries.

Wished the Ambassador every success in her responsible diplomatic mission and reaffirmed our full support for her efforts aimed at further strengthening Uzbekistan–Finland relations”.

As a reminder, diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Finland were established on February 26^th, 1992.
