TASHKENT, July 28. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed Ambassador of El Salvador to our country Yuri Pavel Santacruz Perdomo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Pleased to receive the credentials of H.E. Yuri Pavel Santacruz Perdomo, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of El Salvador to our country, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - We view El Salvador as one of our promising partners in Central America. We support the consistent expansion of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment and other fields.

Wished the Ambassador every success in his new position and reaffirmed our readiness to work together to elevate bilateral relations to a new level”.

As a reminder, Uzbekistan and El Salvador established diplomatic relations on December 3^rd, 2014. The 59-year-old Yuri Pavel Santacruz Perdomo also serves as the Ambassador of El Salvador to Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, with residence in Moscow.
