SHANGHAI, November 7. /Dunyo IA/. The National Pavilion of Uzbekistan at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE-2025) became one of the most vibrant and notable features of the event, vividly showcasing the country’s economic and export potential, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The exhibition offered guests and potential partners a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of high-quality Uzbek products.
Held under the theme "New Era, Shared Future" at the world’s largest National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the expo brought together more than 3,000 companies from 150 countries.
This year, Uzbekistan’s exposition was significantly expanded, featuring products from the mining industry that highlight the country’s rich natural resources—from diverse minerals and industrial raw materials to finished products—underscoring the investment appeal of this sector.
The "Uzcharmsanoat" Association presented samples from the leather, footwear, and fur industries, including stylish shoes, accessories, and high-quality leather goods, demonstrating the high level of processing and contemporary design approaches in Uzbek manufacturing.
Adding a special cultural flair, the textile section became a centerpiece of the pavilion, featuring the famous Uzbek silk, legendary ikat-patterned fabrics, modern cotton products, and traditional national garments, all of which drew significant interest from international visitors.
Uzbekistan also showcased a wide range of chemical products, from mineral fertilizers to finished goods meeting international standards. The agricultural section highlighted the country’s rich produce—sun-kissed melons, juicy pomegranates, raisins, nuts, and eco-friendly dried fruits—demonstrating Uzbekistan’s growing reputation as a reliable supplier of premium-quality food products.
An integral part of the exhibit was the display of traditional handicrafts, including the world-renowned Uzbek ceramics with their colorful ornaments, exquisite hand-embroidered suzani textiles, and finely crafted wood and copper items—each piece reflecting the deep cultural heritage and craftsmanship passed down through generations.
A particularly notable innovation this year was the dedicated tasting area, featuring Uzbek wines made from authentic local grape varieties, allowing international connoisseurs, sommeliers, and distributors to discover and appreciate the emerging potential of Uzbekistan’s winemaking industry.
Uzbekistan’s participation in "CIIE-2025" represents an important step toward strengthening trade and economic ties, diversifying exports, and promoting the "Made in Uzbekistan" brand in one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the world.
