Uzbekistan–Syria Trade House and Distribution Center opens in Aleppo

• 178ALEPPO, May 22. /Dunyo IA/. On May 21st of this year, the official opening ceremony of the Uzbekistan–Syria Trade House and Distribution Center was held in the city of Aleppo, Syria, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The Trade House was established through cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and “Ahmad Kalash Ltd”.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kuwait Ayubkhon Yunusov, as well as more than 100 entrepreneurs from both countries.
The center was established to further develop trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Syria, promote products of Uzbek manufacturers in the Syrian market and organize logistics and distribution processes.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, delivery of one container from Uzbekistan to Aleppo takes approximately 10 days and costs around 2,500 US dollars.
Through this center, it is planned to actively promote products under the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand in the Syrian market, strengthen direct cooperation between entrepreneurs and develop new export routes.
The parties emphasized that this initiative will serve as an important step in bringing economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Syria to a new level.
