Uzbekistan exported raisins to 57 countries worldwide

TASHKENT, 13 August. /Dunyo IA/. In January–June 2026, Uzbekistan exported 47.7 thousand tonnes of raisins, valued at USD 60 million, to 57 foreign countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, the volume of exports increased by 704.5 tonnes.

According to the National Statistics Committee, Kazakhstan was the largest buyer of Uzbek raisins, receiving 15.2 thousand tonnes of the product. It was followed by China - 6 thousand tonnes, Russia - 5.6 thousand tonnes, Türkiye - 3.9 thousand tonnes, and Iran - 1.7 thousand tonnes.

Significant volumes were also exported to Ukraine - 1.6 thousand tonnes, Azerbaijan - 1.4 thousand tonnes, Georgia - 1.2 thousand tonnes, the United Arab Emirates - 1.1 thousand tonnes, and Germany - 1 thousand tonnes. A total of 994.2 tonnes of Uzbek raisins were exported to Brazil. Another 8 thousand tonnes went to other foreign markets.

Industry’s high export potential is also confirmed by international data. According to the UN Comtrade database, Uzbekistan exported 53 thousand tonnes of raisins in 2024, ranking 7th in the world by export volume of this product.

World’s leading raisin-exporting countries by volume in 2024 included Türkiye - 205.9 thousand tonnes, South Africa - 81.7 thousand tonnes, China - 76.4 thousand tonnes, Chile - 59.1 thousand tonnes, India - 55.6 thousand tonnes and the United States - 53.7 thousand tonnes.

With 53 thousand tonnes, Uzbekistan ranked seventh, ahead of Argentina (38.5 thousand tonnes), Greece (15.6 thousand tonnes), and the Netherlands (12.7 thousand tonnes).
