SEOUL, June 18. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, the Uzbek airline Qanot Sharq operated its first regular flight on the route Tashkent-Incheon-Tashkent, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul, this flight marks the beginning of new opportunities for passengers traveling between Uzbekistan and South Korea.

Qanot Sharq will operate regular passenger flights twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays. The first flight on an Airbus A-321 aircraft, which carried 100 passengers, successfully landed on June 17 at Incheon International Airport at 09:30 local time (5:30 in Tashkent).

Passengers who used the services of this airline noted the high level of service and comfort during the flight. South Korean tourists expressed satisfaction with the quality of service and expressed hope that the expansion of the number of airlines operating flights on this route will contribute to an increase in the tourist flow to Uzbekistan.

In addition, the increase in the number of flights helps to strengthen economic cooperation and expand cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Currently, 11 flights are operated on the Tashkent-Incheon-Tashkent route per week: 7 flights from Uzbekistan Airways and 4 flights from Asiana Airlines.

With the launch of new flights from Qanot Sharq, passengers get more options for convenient and comfortable travel.

The launch of the new route by Qanot Sharq Airlines comes immediately after the Uzbek-South Korean summit, which took place on June 13-15 in Tashkent and Samarkand. This summit once again emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries, which is reflected in the expansion of transport links.
