FIFA to offer fans chance to display their names on 2026 World Cup Stadium Screens for USD 79

TASHKENT, June 10. /Dunyo IA/. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, FIFA will launch a new fan service called “Super Shoutout”, allowing fans to display their names on stadium screens for USD 79, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with reference to the “Kazinform” International News Agency.

The service will be available across all 72 group stage matches of the tournament, which will take place at 16 stadiums in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Fans' names will be displayed on the video boards during the teams' pre-match warm-ups.

Messages are limited to 30 characters and cannot contain emojis. FIFA states that the initiative aims to increase fan engagement in the tournament.

However, the innovation has caused a negative reaction on social media. Users criticized the service, calling it another attempt by FIFA to generate additional revenue despite the organization's significant earnings from media rights, sponsorship contracts and ticket sales.
