BANGKOK, December 11. /Dunyo IA/. Rich culinary heritage of Uzbekistan has been prominently featured in the newly published book, "Global Culinary Stories", reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Author of the book Kathleen Pokrud, Foreign Affairs Advisor of Elite+ magazine. This significant publication showcases the diverse cuisines of various countries, contributed by 45 foreign ambassadors to Thailand, including Uzbekistan.
The Consul General of Uzbekistan Fakhriddin Sultanov shared about the rich culinary tradition of Uzbek cuisine that has been formed over three millennia. He spoke about the preparation of such iconic dishes as Uzbek pilaf and samsa, and shared authentic recipes that represent the essence of our national heritage.
The book presentation ceremony was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country, as well as officials from both the public and private sectors of Thailand. During the presentation, guests had the opportunity to taste Uzbek pilaf, samsa, and traditional sweets.
The inclusion of Uzbekistan in "Global Culinary Stories" not only showcases our traditional dishes but also emphasizes the importance of culinary arts in bridging cultural divides and promoting mutual understanding among nations.
