Ambassador of Uzbekistan meets with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament

TOKYO, April 30. /Dunyo IA/. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov, met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives (lower house) of the Parliament of Japan, Eisuke Mori, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The meeting noted the consistent development of the Uzbekistan–Japan strategic partnership and expressed the Japanese side’s interest in further expanding multifaceted cooperation in the political, economic, and cultural spheres.
The parties highly assessed the outcomes of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Japan in December 2025, as well as the agreements reached during that visit, along with the results of the first high-level summit of the “Central Asia + Japan” dialogue.
During the talks, particular attention was paid to strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation. The importance of continuing active engagement in this area, including the regular holding of inter-parliamentary forums, was emphasized.
