TASHKENT, December 7. /IA "Dunyo"/. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held between the head of the Office for Cooperation with European Countries and EU Institutions, Aibek Shakhavdinov, and the Ambassador of Switzerland, Konstantin Obolensky, reports a correspondent of the "Dunyo" information agency.

Issues of further development of Uzbek-Swiss relations in the political, trade-economic, investment, financial-technical and cultural-humanitarian spheres were considered. Plans for the near future to ensure the activities of intergovernmental and interdepartmental mechanisms of bilateral cooperation, mutual visits and other joint events were discussed.

An exchange of views also took place on issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
