Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Held Talks with Deputy Minister of Justice of Japan

TOKYO, May 29. /Dunyo IA/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev yesterday met with Hiroshi Morimoto, Deputy Minister of Justice of Japan, in Tokyo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA of Uzbekistan, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan in the legal and consular spheres.

The sides emphasized the importance of expanding practical interaction between the relevant agencies of the two countries, including on migration issues and protection of the rights and interests of citizens.

The parties also exchanged views on external labor migration, establishing direct contacts between consular institutions, and holding the next round of consular consultations.
