Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan and IOM Regional Director discuss cooperation on protecting the rights and interests of labour migrants

TASHKENT, May 20. /Dunyo IA/. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met today with the Regional Director of the International Organization for Migration for Europe and Central Asia Arthur Erken, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the MFA, during the dialogue, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of protecting the rights and interests of labour migrants.
Special note was made of the successful organization of the “Tashkent International Migration Forum”.
The parties discussed the outcomes of their joint activities and outlined future plans for further deepening cooperation at the international level.
