TASHKENT, May 18. /Dunyo IA/. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held a meeting today with the Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EADB) Nikolay Podguzov, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the MFA, during the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EADB, as well as practical aspects of the Bank’s activities in the country.
The importance of opening the Bank’s representative office in Tashkent was emphasized, as this would contribute to the EADB’s more active participation in expanding investment cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EADB, including through the implementation of joint investment and infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan.
