UK-based oil and gas corporation expresses readiness for structured, long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan

LONDON, March 23. /Dunyo IA/. Ravshan Usmanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, met with Michael Denison, Head of International Advisory, at the Development Department of the “British Petroleum” Transnational Company, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, the representative of the British company highly praised the results of the negotiations held on February 26 of this year between a delegation led by Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the leadership of “BP”. It was noted that this dialogue created a solid foundation for establishing mutual cooperation, as well as for implementing large-scale investment and industrial projects.
The British side expressed interest in establishing a systemic and long-term partnership with Uzbekistan in the energy sector, including the exploration and production of hydrocarbon resources, the implementation of modern technologies and infrastructure development.
It was noted that this cooperation will contribute to improving the investment climate and further increasing Uzbekistan's energy potential.
Following the meeting, “BP” delegation expressed its readiness to participate at a high level in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum. It is expected that this will serve as an important platform for the further activation of bilateral cooperation and the promotion of new investment agreements.
