DUBAI, June 27. /Dunyo IA/. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shadiev met with Mishal Hamed Kanoo, Chairman of the UAE-based Kanoo Group, to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral investment cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The talks focused on broadening the company's investment activities in Uzbekistan, with particular emphasis on the implementation of high value-added projects in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.

The two sides underscored that closer cooperation in these sectors would contribute to strengthening Uzbekistan's industrial capacity, introducing advanced technologies, and creating new jobs.

They also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in the transport and logistics sector. Discussions covered the establishment of logistics hubs, the development of freight transportation, the introduction of modern logistics solutions, and measures aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and reinforcing Uzbekistan's role as a regional transport and logistics hub.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of investment, industry, and logistics, as well as to jointly develop and implement promising projects.
