UAE Company plans to organize pharmaceutical production in Uzbekistan

ABU DHABI, June 11. /Dunyo IA/.  Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiev, met with Basel Ziyadeh the CEO of “Julphar”, the largest pharmaceutical company in the United Arab Emirates, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan, the expansion of modern medicine production, the introduction of advanced technologies, as well as the strengthening of investment cooperation.

Information was presented to the meeting participants regarding the ongoing modernization of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry, as well as measures taken to increase production capacity and align manufacturing with international standards. Additionally, the presentation highlighted the favourable environment established for foreign investors and the current opportunities available for implementing joint ventures within this sector.

Basel Ziyadeh noted the high potential of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical market and commended the favorable conditions created for the sector's development. He also emphasized interest of “Julphar” in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan and implementing promising projects.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their dialogue and further elaborate on specific areas of investment cooperation, including pharmaceutical production, technology transfer and the realization of joint projects.
