LONDON, May 13. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov held talks with Stephen Gargiulo, Head of Global Emerging Markets at “ICBC Standard Bank”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“ICBC Standard Bank” has been actively cooperating with Uzbekistan since 2018. Key areas of interaction include financing in national and foreign currencies, as well as the issuance of Eurobonds.

Stephen Gargiulo noted that the company's development strategy prioritizes large-scale structural deals. In this regard, the British side emphasized its interest in deepening cooperation with Uzbekistan, noting the country's stable geopolitical position and the large-scale constructive transformations being implemented in the republic.

In particular, “ICBC Standard Bank” intends to intensify partnership in the areas of infrastructure, energy, and technology.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on Stephen Gargiulo's participation in the V Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held from June 16^th to 19^th .
