Uzbekistan and Pakistan enhance collaboration in IT sector

• 172GUJRANWALA, December 15. /Dunyo IA/. During an official working visit to the Pakistani city of Gujranwala, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev visited the co-working center “Innovista Rachna,” reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the visit, he familiarized himself with the center’s activities and held discussions with its management on prospects for bilateral cooperation. The Pakistani side was briefed on the conditions created in Uzbekistan to foster the development of the IT sector. It was emphasized that, in order to further improve this area, Uzbekistan actively studies international experience and maintains close collaboration with companies from the USA, France, South Korea, and other countries.
It was also noted that Uzbekistan has established all necessary conditions for the full-scale operation of foreign IT companies. Pakistani tech parks were encouraged to develop close cooperation with Uzbek IT specialists, which will help Pakistani youth acquire modern professional skills, increase employment levels, and create high-paying jobs.
Representatives of the “Innovista Rachna” co-working center stated that, in order to learn from Uzbekistan’s experience in this field, a delegation from the center recently visited Uzbekistan. During the visit, they studied the activities of IT-Park Uzbekistan in Tashkent and established partnership connections.
The Pakistani side also highlighted that Uzbekistan has developed a unique and effective system for creating, operating, and supporting technoparks and IT parks. In this regard, “Innovista Rachna” is interested in studying and implementing Uzbekistan’s experience. According to agreements reached between the parties, a continuous dialogue has been established, and with the participation of IT-Park specialists, work is currently underway to organize various training seminars and workshops for Pakistani colleagues on institution management, staff skill development, and professional knowledge enhancement.
The visit of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the “Innovista Rachna” co-working center generated significant interest on the Pakistani side. It was expressed with confidence that this visit will contribute to taking bilateral cooperation in the field of IT technologies to a new, higher level.
