LONDON, June 5. /Dunyo IA/.  A business forum dedicated to the investment opportunities of Uzbekistan was held at the Institute of Directors in the British capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event brought together over 40 representatives of business circles, including officials from the UK Department for Business and Trade, the Government of Jersey, as well as companies such as SavvY, COSA Solutions, International Construction Chambers, Sturgeon Capital, Xtellus, Montfort, Sullcrom, BTI Capital and Zaha Hadid Architects.

Participants were provided with detailed information on the priority sectors of Uzbekistan's economy, market entry mechanisms, as well as incentives and preferences granted to investors.

As part of the forum, Mariam Koyava, Managing Partner of SavvY, delivered a presentation titled “Uzbekistan's Economy and Investment Prospects: Opportunities in the International Market”. In her speech, she presented the country's key economic growth indicators, promising industries and the conditions being created for doing business.

Additionally, panel discussions were held as part of the business forum, during which representatives of international companies and investment funds shared their experiences in the Uzbek market and discussed prospects for cooperation with the private sector.

Following the event, it was noted that the discussions contributed to promoting Uzbekistan's investment potential within the international business community and establishing new partnerships.
