Leading UAE renewable energy company to participate in the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum

ABU DHABI, May 13. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiev, has met with Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, CEO of “Masdar”, the UAE's state-owned renewable energy company, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the talks, it was noted that mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and “Masdar” has intensified following President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the company in March 2019.
According to the head of “Masdar”, the development of partnership with Uzbekistan and the current state of cooperation were noted, and the company's interest in participating in the construction of New Uzbekistan was confirmed.
The company is currently implementing projects in nine Asian countries with a total installed capacity of 3 GW and plans to expand its project portfolio to 6 GW by 2030.
Following the meeting, “Masdar” representatives confirmed their readiness to participate in Uzbekistan “Energy Week”, held from May 12 to 14, as well as in the upcoming Tashkent International Investment Forum.
