VLADIVOSTOK, July 17. /Dunyo IA/.   Consul General of Uzbekistan Khazhiakbar Vakhabov met with the President of the International Business Club “Dialogues”, member of the Export Council of the Primorsky Krai and Inessa Babich, President of Babich & Partners, ranked among the “Top 50 Businesswomen in the Asia-Pacific Region”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, information was presented on the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan in the sphere of foreign trade, as well as on measures of state support and preferences provided to foreign investors. In addition, the sides got acquainted with the activities and opportunities of the International Business Club “Dialogues”.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of further development of trade and economic cooperation, including the prospects for expanding the export of Uzbek-made products to the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia. Issues of developing new logistical routes between the regions, establishing a Trading House of Uzbekistan, a showroom, and permanent fairs of national products in the Primorsky Krai, organizing mutual business missions with the participation of entrepreneurs, as well as holding a business forum in the city of Vladivostok were also discussed.

During the conversation, Inessa Babich expressed readiness to provide assistance in establishing a Trading House of Uzbekistan in the Primorsky Krai, organizing one of the meetings of the International Business Club “Dialogues” dedicated to the foreign economic activity and export potential of Uzbekistan, as well as in organizing a business tour of Uzbekistan for the members of the club.

Following the results of the meeting, the sides agreed to provide comprehensive assistance in establishing direct contacts between the business circles of Uzbekistan and the Primorsky Krai, as well as in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
